Job summary

H&R Deluxe Stairs Pty Ltd – Smithfield NSW is seeking a passionate Staircase Joiner/Apprentice Joiner to manufacture timber staircases from shop drawings to final assembly and install. The role emphasizes craftsmanship, accuracy and safety while supporting the site team during installation of stairs, balustrades and related components.

Training will be provided, with exposure to CNC machinery, joinery processes and Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in joinery or staircase manufacturing is preferred; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture timber staircases including treads, risers, stringers, handrails and balustrade components.
• Interpret and work from shop drawings, plans and specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble and finish staircase components to a high standard.
• Work with solid timber, glass, aluminium and other materials.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop and site operations.
• Ability to identify and resolve manufacturing issues proactively.
