Taylor's stairs and Balustrades Pty Ltd - Runaway Bay QLD is seeking a dedicated Stair Builder Apprentice or Laborer to join our family-run business. The role is based on-site between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, offering hands-on training in stair building and balustrade installation.

You will learn measuring, cutting and assembly techniques while supporting our skilled builders. Must have a genuine interest in carpentry, a willingness to learn, and good communication in English.

You will be an integral part of our family run business and our goal to deliver high-quality staircases and balustrades to our customers. Working between Gold Coast and Brisbane.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting our experienced stair builders in the construction and installation of staircases and balustrades
• Learning the techniques and processes involved in stair building, including measuring, cutting, and assembling components

What we're looking for

• A strong interest and passion for carpentry, woodwork, and construction
• A willingness to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of our experienced team
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Solid communication and able to speak and understand English and teamwork
• Must own a vehicle and driver's license
• Positive Attitude and able to work fast and physically able and fit.
