Job summary

Good Shepherd Primary Plumpton is seeking two educators to advance into a Coordinator role in an ongoing full-time capacity in Plumpton, NSW. The positions include leadership across Stage 2 and Stage 3, a focus on inclusive pedagogy and ongoing professional growth.

We value diverse learners and collaborative partnerships with families and staff, with a 2 point allowance and a supportive environment within Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese.

Qualifications

• Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
• Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• Statements of Service
• Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
• Religious Education qualifications, or a willingness to obtain them in line with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership across Stage 2 and Stage 3, guiding high-quality learning and pedagogy.
• Model engaging, innovative and evidence-based teaching practice.
• Promote student wellbeing, engagement and positive learning behaviours.
• Commit to ongoing professional learning and actively support colleagues’ growth.
• Build positive, collaborative relationships with students, families and staff.
• Use data effectively to inform teaching and drive improvement across Stage 2 and Stage 3.
• Differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs.
• Lead and coordinate programs that support students with diverse learning needs.
• Support teachers in implementing effective adjustments and inclusive learning practices.
