• Proven experience designing and delivering complex software solutions in large-scale environments.
• Strong hands-on software engineering capability and problem-solving.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, APIs, platforms or data-driven services.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
• Experience influencing direction, architecture and standards.
• Track record mentoring engineers and uplifting capability across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, resilient software solutions across customer channel and data platforms.
• Build and evolve applications, APIs, services and platform capabilities supporting Business Banking experiences.
• Contribute across backend, cloud platforms, customer experiences and data-enabled solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions and influence engineering direction within and across squads.
• Champion modern software engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD, observability and DevSecOps.
• Partner with product, business and architecture stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.
• Mentor engineers and grow technical capability across the organisation.
• Support platforms in production and drive continuous improvement via automation and monitoring.
