Job summary

Commonwealth Bank's Unloan team in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to drive modern digital home lending platforms. You’ll own end-to-end delivery of high-performance services using TypeScript, React, Node.js and GraphQL, shaping architecture and embracing GenAI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to own end-to-end system design and delivery in a full-stack environment.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance services using TypeScript/React/Node.js/GraphQL.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery from design to production for Unloan’s platform.
• Drive architecture discussions and guide engineering across back-end and front-end teams.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence and best practices.
