Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to shape security engineering and architecture across Corporate Services and other Group functions. You will operate across organisational boundaries, leading complex programs with engineering, architecture, risk and business peers.

You will deliver subject-matter expertise in senior forums and engage with General Managers and technology leaders to shape strategic security outcomes for a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in security engineering and architecture across large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional security programs.
• Strong expertise in Secure by Design and threat modelling.
• Experience shaping or deploying enterprise security capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for security engineering and architecture across multiple functions.
• Lead significant programs with security, engineering, architecture, risk and business peers.
• Provide authoritative security advice at senior forums and to executives.
• Influence senior leaders through risk-informed recommendations.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat assessments and security control decisions.
