Ampstek is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering Team Lead in Australia to guide and expand the SRE capability across enterprise applications. You will collaborate with application development and platform teams to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring/observability, and security, with a strong focus on incident management, technical roadmap development, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience with reliability engineering focus.
• Strong Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring and security expertise.
• Proven leadership in incident management and roadmap delivery.

Responsabilités

• Lead SRE capability portfolio and drive improvements across teams.
• Develop backlogs and capability roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and platform teams to improve reliability.
• Guide Kubernetes platforms, container orchestration, and deployment strategies.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting and observability practices.
• Drive security practices for containers and applications.
• Coordinate incident response for Kubernetes clusters.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Promote SRE best practices including SLIs/SLAs.
