Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Ballarat is seeking a Sprayer Driver to join our Infrastructure Services team, working on multiple projects around the region. You will operate the bitumen sprayer truck during sealing and reseal works, monitor spray rates and equipment performance to ensure quality results.

A valid Dangerous Goods Licence and a Truck Licence are required; previous Bitumen Sprayer Operator experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a bitumen sprayer is beneficial.
• Valid licences required: Dangerous Goods and Truck Licence.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and nights; live away from home when required.
• Construction Induction Card is required for site access.

Responsibilities

• Operate the bitumen sprayer truck during sealing and reseal works.
• Spray Seal physical duties and monitor spray rates, coverage, and equipment performance.
• Contribute to road work construction and maintenance with safe operations near live traffic.
• Attend toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project data capture.

• Operate the bitumen sprayer truck during sealing and reseal works.
• Spray Seal physical duties.
• Monitor spray rates, coverage, and equipment performance for quality results.
• Road work construction and maintenance.
• Safe operation near live traffic.
• Attending toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project specific data capture.

How you'll connect to the role?

• A valid Dangerous Goods Licence / Valid Truck Licence
• Previous Bitumen Sprayer Operator experience is beneficial.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, nights and live away from home when required.
• Construction Induction card.
• An interest in working outdoors and in all weather conditions.

The pre-employment process will involve a medical check including drug and alcohol screening.
