Job summary

BTP is seeking an experienced Spray Painter for its Hazelmere Workshop in a permanent full-time capacity. You will prepare, paint and finish mining equipment components to exact specifications while working in a busy, safety‑conscious workshop.

You will also contribute to quality workmanship and participate in mentoring apprentices. A forklift licence, rigging licence and a current Australian driver’s licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Spray Painter in industrial/mining environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Forklift Licence (essential).
• Rigging Licence (essential).
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Spray Painter who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes and workmanship?

BTP is seeking a skilled and motivated Spray Painter to join our Hazelmere Workshop in permanent full-time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of mining equipment components and machinery while being part of a team committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Working in a busy workshop environment, you will play a key role in preparing, painting and finishing parts and equipment to company and customer specifications, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Hazelmere Workshop team, you will:

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Spray Painter in an industrial, mining, heavy equipment or related environment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Forklift Licence (essential)
• Rigging Licence (essential)
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes

The following will be highly regarded:

• Experience working on mining or heavy earthmoving equipment
