Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking a Spot Trader/Analyst based in Sydney. The role combines trading responsibilities with analytical forecasting to guide strategy and maximise asset value. You will collaborate with IT and development teams to document processes and implement improvements.

A strong quantitative background and proficiency with SQL, Power BI, VBA and Python are essential. Prior NEM or market modelling experience is a plus in a dynamic, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong quantitative/analytical ability with practical data skills.
• Experience with market modelling software is beneficial.
