Lightsource bp APAC Energy Markets team seeks a Senior Spot Trader to optimise storage and hybrid assets and to develop trading strategies for portfolio optimisation in the NEM.

You will oversee trading algorithms, analyze performance, and support the Portfolio Optimisation Manager with reporting and analytics while ensuring alignment with risk policies. This role is based in Sydney and requires 2+ years in spot electricity markets.

Qualifications

• The role requires a practical track record in spot electricity markets and portfolio optimisation.
• A degree in a numerical field is required.
