Zusammenfassung

Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking a motivated Sportsfields Booking Officer to coordinate the booking and allocation of sportsfields and recreational facilities on a temporary basis. You will support local clubs, schools and community groups with access to open spaces.

The role requires relevant qualifications and experience in booking administration, strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. Pro rata salary applies with superannuation.

Qualifikationen

• TAFE certificate or tertiary qualification in sport, recreation, administration, business studies, health or related area.
• Demonstrated experience in facility or booking administration.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and booking software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Access to Fitness Passport.

Aufgaben

• Administer and manage the bookings of Council’s sportsfields, parks and recreational venues.
• Liaise with sporting clubs, schools, and community organisations to ensure equitable access and efficient use of facilities.
• Maintain accurate booking records, issue permits and process payments and refunds.
• Coordinate seasonal allocation processes and assist with policy implementation.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to public enquiries.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support maintenance schedules and special events.
