Job summary

City of Kingston is seeking a Sport and Recreation Liaison Officer to build partnerships with clubs and community groups, delivering active opportunities across Kingston. Reporting to the Team Leader Sport and Recreation, you will engage stakeholders, plan engagement activities, and support project delivery with data-driven reports.

The role offers hybrid work, flexible hours, and strong development opportunities, with a focus on community health and collaboration within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Familiarity with outdoor sporting & recreation facilities.
• Ability to liaise with sports clubs and community groups.
• Excellent communication to achieve community outcomes.
• Experience coordinating sports club input for works and projects.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Strong written comms and ability to assist with project/engagement plans and reports.

Responsibilities

• Foster partnerships with sports clubs, community organisations and stakeholders.
• Coordinate engagement and planning for works and projects.
• Contribute to project plans, engagement plans, reports and correspondence based on data.
