Job summary

Kingston City Council is seeking a Sport and Recreation Liaison Officer to join the Active Kingston team in Melbourne. You will engage with sports clubs and community groups to foster active opportunities and partnerships, reporting to the Team Leader Sport and Recreation.

The role requires coordinating stakeholder input for projects, strong communication, and relevant sport/recreation qualifications. A flexible, supportive environment with hybrid options is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with outdoor sport and recreation facilities operations.
• Proven ability to liaise with sports clubs and community groups.
• Strong written communication, capable of preparing plans and reports.

Responsibilities

• Engage with sports clubs and community organisations to support active, healthy opportunities.
• Coordinate stakeholder input for planning and delivery of works and projects.
• Prepare project and engagement plans and reports based on evidence.
