Job summary

Knox City Council is seeking a Coordinator Sport and Leisure to lead a high‑performing team delivering community sport and leisure services, programs and capital projects. The role will coordinate the facility capital works program, assess and prioritise projects, and foster strong relationships with clubs, associations and partners.

You will contribute to sport and leisure strategies, manage budgets and pursue grant opportunities to support community outcomes.

Qualifications

• The key selection criteria for this role are:
• Lead and support a team delivering sport and leisure services, programs and capital projects.
• Coordinate Council's sporting facility capital works program, including project assessment, prioritisation, planning and implementation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sporting clubs, associations and community partners.
• Support sport and leisure organisations to develop facility improvement projects and funding submissions.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of sport and leisure strategies, policies and initiatives.
• Monitor program budgets and identify grant opportunities to support community outcomes.
