Job summary

Sunshine Coast Regional Council is seeking a Sport and Activation Partnerships Lead to grow participation and activate communities across the Sunshine Coast. You will build partnerships with clubs, schools and health providers to deliver inclusive programs that boost participation and wellbeing.

You will lead planning, reporting and budget management while guiding a team in a high-impact, community-focused environment. A tertiary qualification in sport, health, or related field is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead sport, recreation or community activation initiatives.
• Experience developing programs and activation strategies to improve participation.
• Strong relationships with clubs, schools, health providers and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead partnerships that grow sport participation and activate communities across the Sunshine Coast.
• Develop and manage partnerships, programs and initiatives to increase participation and wellbeing.
• Lead business planning, performance reporting, budget management and team development.
• Collaborate with clubs, associations and government partners to deliver outcomes.
