Job summary

Sunbury Downs College in Sunbury, VIC seeks a Speech Pathologist to support students with communication, language, literacy and social communication needs, improving access to learning, participation and wellbeing through targeted intervention and data-informed practice.

Role includes delivering small group programs, assessments and observations, consulting with staff and families, and contributing to Disability Inclusion planning and student support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of speech, language and social communication development in adolescents.
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate targeted interventions for student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Experience in gathering, analysing and presenting evidence for Disability Inclusion applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group speech and language programs.
• Assess and observe students to identify communication needs.
• Consult with teaching staff, families and external professionals on goals and progress.
• Support Disability Inclusion processes and DI documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary planning and staff development.
