Job summary

The University of Canberra's Faculty of Health invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Speech Pathology. This continuing role offers a pivotal chance to advance teaching, research, and professional engagement within the Masters program.

You will lead curriculum renewal, design innovative teaching delivery, and build strong relationships with industry partners, professional bodies, and stakeholders locally, nationally, and internationally.

Qualifications

PhD in Speech Pathology or closely related field.
Eligible for or currently hold Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status with Speech Pathology Australia.
Valid Australian working rights at time of submission and ACT WWVP registration or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Support students in classroom and clinical environments.
Collaborate to advance academic initiatives and research.
Deliver innovative teaching in the Masters program and contribute to curriculum design.
Develop and maintain partnerships with industry, professional associations and government stakeholders.
Promote collaboration, innovation and excellence.
Provide strategic leadership for the Discipline of Speech Pathology at levels C & D.
Mentor and support academic staff to enhance teaching quality and research outcomes.
