Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in a relevant discipline.
• Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Demonstrated scholarly and professional achievement with teaching, research and profession.
• Experience delivering high-quality tertiary teaching and leading initiatives for student outcomes.
• Experience with speech pathology program accreditation.
• Strong research track record with leadership, collaboration and funding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across stakeholders.
• Proven leadership including mentoring and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality, student-centred teaching.
• Lead curriculum development, course coordination and program enhancement.
• Lead program accreditation activities.
• Undertake and lead impactful research with real-world impact.
• Build research collaborations and pursue external funding.
• Supervise Honours and HDR students.
• Develop partnerships with industry, government and community.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and support to colleagues.
