We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Speech Pathologist who works well in a multidisciplinary team and partners with families to achieve meaningful outcomes for children. Experienced Grade 1 clinicians will also be considered for this role.
As part of the Child Health Team, you will provide clinic-based speech pathology services for children (15 months up to school age) who have communication difficulties. Working within an evidence-based, family- and client-centred framework, you will partner with families and a multidisciplinary team to support meaningful outcomes for children across Melbourne’s northern suburbs. The role may involve working across multiple DPV Health sites to support families where services are most needed.
You will bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, sound clinical reasoning, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to providing culturally safe, inclusive and family-centred care. You will be comfortable managing a varied paediatric caseload, working with children and families from diverse backgrounds, and contributing positively to team learning and service improvement.
