Job summary

Mediix Recruitment Pty Ltd. is seeking a Speech Pathologist for regional Australia. The role splits time between paediatric and adult clients with NDIS at the core. It offers full-time hours with flexibility and a starting salary of AU$90,000, dependent on experience.

You'll work across clinics and community settings across multiple regions, with a focus on holistic care and ongoing professional development. Open to overseas-qualified SLPs, and new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• A degree in Speech Pathology.
• Eligibility for Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Genuine interest in both paediatric and adult work.
• NDIS experience is a plus, but not essential.
• Own reliable car and a current driver’s licence.
• Clear communication with clients and families.
• New graduates through to experienced clinicians welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing needs across a range of ages.
• Build goal-focused therapy plans for clients and families.
• Write NDIS reports and progress notes on time.
• Collaborate with other allied health colleagues for joined-up care.
• Maintain your own caseload and communicate with clients, carers and funders.
