Qualifications

Degree in Speech Pathology is required or currently completing final year
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
Australian citizenship or permanent residency and SPA eligibility or CPS status are required

Responsibilities

Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
Speech, language and social communication interventions
Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
Design, trial and implementation of low and high-tech AAC devices
Development, implementation and review of evidence-based therapy plans
Functional communication assessments
Parent, caregiver and stakeholder education
Collaborative care planning with Allied Health professionals, educators and medical practitioners
Community, clinic and school-based services
