Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver life-changing services to NDIS participants. roles available full-time or part-time (4 days) or 9-day fortnight, with opportunities in Melton and surrounding areas.

You will assess, plan and implement therapy across homes, schools and community sites, working with a multidisciplinary team. Compensation includes salary, superannuation, vehicle options, laptop and phone, plus bonus schemes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology required.
• SPA Registration required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• NDIS/Disability experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Job title - Speech Pathologist

Location - Melton and surrounding suburbs including: Caroline Springs, Taylors Hill, St Albans, Sunbury, Keilor, Diggers Rest, Fraser Rise, Woodend and Bacchus Marsh.

Employment Type - Full time, Part time (4 days per week) or 9-day fortnight

Salary - $82,106 – $110,143 per annum (inclusive of annual leave loading) + superannuation + vehicle options + mobile + laptop + options to boost salary up to $10,000

Bonuses – Up to $10,000 Change Maker Bonus (Paid at 6 months, 12 months and 18 months)

Relocation – Reimbursement up to $5,000 if applicable

Supervision and Support – Valued at up to $22,000

Professional Development – PD allowance negotiable

Formal learning opportunities available through registered training organisations and universities

Visa Sponsorship – 482 visa sponsorship considered

About The Role

We are looking for Speech Pathologists to provide life-changing speech pathology to NDIS participants. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full-time position, however part-time would also be considered.

As a Speech Pathologist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same:

• Working in the social model means you’ll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
• Utilizing an evidence-based measurement tool and your skills in assessment, you'll create therapy plans and provide life-changing speech pathology to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
• Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals
• Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
• Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs
• You’ll tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor
