Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking a Speech Pathologist for Lake Haven, NSW. Full-time or part-time (4 days) or 9-day fortnight options available to support NDIS participants in homes, schools and community settings.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, develop therapy plans using evidence-based tools, and help participants achieve goals while benefiting from mentoring and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology required.
• SPA Registration essential.
• Positive and flexible approach to work; strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and NDIS/Working with Children checks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in diverse settings: homes, schools, playgrounds, communities.
• Create therapy plans with evidence-based assessment tools to support goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
• Build meaningful relationships with participants and supports.
• Attend weekly team meetings to share impact and insights.
• Receive guidance from Team Leader and Therapy Mentor.

Location – Lake Haven

Salary – $82,106 – $110,143 per annum (inclusive of annual leave loading) + superannuation + vehicle options + mobile + laptop + options to boost salary up to $10,000

Relocation – Reimbursement up to $5,000 if applicable

Supervision and Support – Valued at up to $22,000

Caseload – Opportunities to specialise in paediatrics, youth or adult streams

Professional Development – PD allowance negotiable

Formal learning opportunities available through registered training organisations and universities

About The Role

We are looking for Speech Pathologists to provide life‑changing speech pathology to NDIS participants. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full‑time position, however part-time would also be considered.

As a Speech Pathologist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same:

• Working in the social model means you’ll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
• Utilising an evidence‑based measurement tool and your skills in assessment, you'll create therapy plans and provide life‑changing speech pathology to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
• Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals
• Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
• Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs
• You’ll tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor

To Be Considered For This Role You’ll Need

• Experience working in NDIS/disability is preferred, however not essential.
