Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide life-changing services to NDIS participants. The role offers diverse placements, clinics and community settings with ongoing supervision and professional development.

Relocation to Maitland is supported. Full-time or 4 days/week with flexibility, generous salary package including bonuses and vehicle options, PD funding and career pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and SPA registration are required.
• Positive and flexible approach with strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and safe practice.
• Valid driver's license and compliance checks (NDIS/WsC).
• Experience in NDIS/disability is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide life-changing speech pathology services to NDIS participants.
• Assess and design therapy plans to support goals and funding.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team across settings (home, school, community).
• Build meaningful relationships with participants and supports (family, carers).
• Attend weekly team meetings and engage with mentors and leaders.

Job title - Speech Pathologist

Location -Beresfield

Employment Type - Full time, Part time (4 days per week) or 9-day fortnight

Salary - $82,106 – $110,143 per annum (inclusive of annual leave loading) + superannuation + vehicle options + mobile + laptop + options to boost salary up to $10,000

Supervision and Support – Valued at up to $22,000

Caseload - Opportunities to specialise in paediatrics, youth or adult streams

Professional Development – PD allowance negotiable

About The Role

We are looking for Speech Pathologists to provide life-changing speech pathology to NDIS participants. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full-time position, however part-time would also be considered.

As a Speech Pathologist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same:

• Working in the social model means you’ll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
• Utilizing an evidence-based measurement tool and your skills in assessment, you'll create therapy plans and provide life-changing speech pathology to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
• Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals
• Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
• Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs
• You’ll tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor
