Job summary

Early Start Australia is seeking a graduate Speech Pathologist to support children across clinics, schools, homes and telehealth. You will help kids find their voice, build confidence and develop communication skills with families and educators.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team, receive mentoring and structured learning as you begin your career in paediatric speech pathology in NSW.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia upon graduation.
  • Recent graduate or graduating in early 2026.
  • Hold a current driver's licence and have access to a vehicle with third-party insurance.
  • Have (or are willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check.
  • Have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check.
  • Have (or are willing to obtain) NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Have (or are willing to obtain) First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Bring great communication skills, strong organisation and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Support children to develop their speech, language, communication and social skills through engaging, evidence-based therapy.
  • Deliver therapy across our clinics, schools, homes and via telehealth.
  • Create personalised therapy plans that are meaningful, achievable and tailored to each child's goals.
  • Partner with parents, carers and educators, empowering them with strategies that support children's communication beyond therapy sessions.
  • Work with children with a range of developmental, learning and communication needs, helping them thrive in everyday life.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and other Allied Health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
