Healthcarelink Support is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join their Cairns Townsville network. The role involves delivering assessments, reporting, and ongoing therapy for diverse clients, including children and adults.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Speech Pathology and SPA registration.
• Passionate about delivering high-level client support.

• Current, unrestricted driver’s licence and transport access.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments across age groups.
• Deliver reporting and ongoing therapy to children and adults.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Ensure high-quality service across speech, language, voice, swallowing, and multi-modal communication.
• Conduct home-based evaluations and coordinate group therapy where suitable.
• Educate patients and families about communication disorders.

• Provide comprehensive assessments.
• Provide reporting & ongoing therapy to a wide range of clients, both children and adults.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Ensure clients are receiving the highest possible level of individualised service cross the domains of speech, language, voice, multi-modal communication, swallowing and fluent.
• This will include home based evaluations, recommendations, Allied Health Assistant program development and coordinating group therapy programs as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families about communication disorders.

Essential criteria:

• Bachelor or Masters in Speech pathology.
• Certified practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
