In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide care to patients across our Oncology, Stroke, Surgical, ICU, General Medical and Rehabilitation wards. You will play an integral role in screening, assessing and diagnosing speech, communication and swallowing disorders, while delivering evidence-based, patient-centred interventions tailored to each individual’s needs.
This is a casual position providing ad-hoc leave coverage for our existing team. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, offering flexibility while providing the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to patient care.

You are a qualified Speech Pathologist with relevant experience within a hospital acute care & rehabilitation setting. You bring strong clinical skills in patient centered speech therapy care that is evidence based, involving thorough screening, assessments, diagnosis and interventions using safe and current techniques, for communication and swallowing disorders.
When indicated you may utilize instrumental dysphagia assessments, including FEES. Your commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development sets you apart.
