Job summary

Healthscope is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our Lady Davidson Private Hospital team in a 3-month fixed term or casual role. Flexible hours including school hours are considered to suit the ideal candidate.

You will work in a busy rehabilitation service with a varied caseload and supportive, multidisciplinary teams. Applicants should have a degree in Speech Pathology, be eligible for Speech Pathology Australia membership, and demonstrate strong time management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology required.
• Experience in community and/or hospital settings preferred.
• Eligibility for membership to Speech Pathology Australia.

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our experienced and highly skilled team either on a fixed term or casual basis.

The successful applicant will need to be a team player and be flexible in their approach to meeting the challenges of a busy and exciting service and will have the opportunity to experience a varied clinical caseload.

Lady Davidson Private Hospital, based in North Turramurra, is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia. With 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds, the hospital has been designed to promote rehabilitation through our inpatient programs.

The hospital has a large day therapy department providing multidisciplinary specialized rehabilitation across various case-mixes including orthopaedics, oncology, neurology, cardiac, general medical and reconditioning.

Selection Criteria
