Job summary

Maryborough District Health Service invites applications for a Supported Allied Health Graduate Program for early-career Speech Pathologists in a friendly rural setting. This fixed-term role offers supervision, mentoring and development across inpatient care, residential aged care and outpatient services.

You will gain broad clinical experience, complete assessments, manage caseloads with supervision, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams while documenting care accurately.

Qualifications

• Recognised speech pathology qualification and eligibility for practicing membership of SPA.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Positive, flexible and collaborative approach; interest in rural healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Complete speech pathology assessments and provide evidence-based interventions.
• Develop your caseload management skills with supervision and support.
• Work with clients across a range of health needs, including complex and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated care.
• Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation.
