Allied Health – Newcastle NSW is seeking a Speech Pathologist, experienced or new graduate, to design a role that fits your life while delivering meaningful therapy. We prioritise autonomy, work-life balance, and a supportive team in a neurodiversity-affirming, Aboriginal-owned practice. You'll split time between clinic and community visits with strong admin support and supervision to help you grow.

Responsibilities

• Clinic-based sessions with clients across age groups.
• Community visits to preschools, schools, or client homes within your LGA.
• Assessment, therapy, and report writing for a mixed caseload (infants to adults).
• Group sessions across the lifespan and collaboration with the team.

About The Role

Your week may include:

Clinic-based sessions

Community visits (e.g. preschools, schools, or client homes within your LGA)

We'll work with you to create a schedule and caseload that suits your preferences and strengths.

Supervise students or junior clinicians

Support through a New Graduate Program (if you’re newly graduated)

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Holds a qualification in Speech Pathology (SPA membership) or is due to graduate by January 2027

Is interested in or aligned with neurodiversity-affirming practice

Has strong communication skills and enjoys working with a diverse client group

Values teamwork but is also confident working independently

Is interested in growing into mentoring or leadership over time - not essential
