Job summary

Maryborough District Health Service invites applications for its Supported Allied Health Graduate Program for early-career Speech Pathologists. This fixed-term role runs until January 2028, full time (40 hours/week) with monthly ADO; part-time considered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised speech pathology qualification and SPA eligibility.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management.
• Interest in rural healthcare and working across diverse clinical settings; commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, person-centred speech pathology care across inpatient, residential aged care and outpatient services.
• Complete speech pathology assessments and provide evidence-based interventions.
• Develop caseload management skills with supervision and support.
• Collaborate with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated care.
• Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation.
