Job summary

Mediix, a well-established multidisciplinary clinic in Melbourne's northern suburbs, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join a supportive team. You’ll have a full referral pipeline, efficient admin and billing support, sensible caseloads, and a collaborative group of OTs, psychologists and fellow SPs who lunch together regularly.

Caseload can be paediatric, adult, or mixed, clinic-based with no travel. The role offers above-award pay, 0.6–1.0 FTE, school hours and compressed weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
• CPSP eligible or certified.
• Genuine interest in working with children and families.
• New grads with paediatric placements encouraged to apply.
• Confident with family coaching and parent-mediated approaches.
• Strong clinical documentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech pathology services to paediatric and/or adult clients.
• Develop niche areas such as paediatric feeding, AAC, literacy.
• Provide family coaching and parent-mediated approaches.
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with OT, psychology and SP colleagues.

Job description

A well-established multidisciplinary clinic in Melbourne's northern suburbs is looking for a Speech Pathologist to join their team. They're not the biggest practice in Melbourne, and they're not trying to be. What they are stable, well-run, and genuinely good at looking after their clinicians — which is why people tend to stay.

About you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
• Speech Pathology Australia (CPSP) eligible or certified

• Current WA driver's licence and reliable vehicle
