Job description

Speech Pathologist | South-East Perth | Private Practice | Full-time or Part-time All-ages caseload

We are hiring for a well-established private practice in Perth's south-east to appoint a Speech Pathologist to their multidisciplinary team. The practice has built a strong local reputation over several years, has a steady stream of referrals, and offers the kind of environment where clinicians tend to stay — supportive leadership, sensible caseloads and colleagues who genuinely enjoy working together.

About the role

You'll see clients across the lifespan — paediatric through to adult and older-adult — working across communication and swallowing. The caseload is genuinely diverse, so you can lean into your areas of clinical interest while broadening your skills in others. Sessions are a mix of clinic, community and telehealth.

Day to day, you will:

  • Complete comprehensive assessments for speech, language, voice, fluency and dysphagia

  • Develop individualised, evidence-based treatment plans in partnership with clients and families

  • Deliver 1:1 intervention, and group sessions where clinically indicated

  • Collaborate with the in-house multidisciplinary team and external treating clinicians

  • Maintain clinical documentation and complete NDIS, Medicare and DVA reporting as required

  • Provide education and coaching to families, carers and support workers

What is on offer:

  • Above-award remuneration, negotiable on experience

  • Generous PD budget, paid study leave and internal case-review sessions

  • Structured supervision — genuine mentoring for early-career SPs, and peer support for senior clinicians

  • Admin, billing and NDIS claims support so your day stays clinical

  • Flexible hours — 0.6–1.0 FTE, compressed weeks and school-hours arrangements all considered

  • Modern, purpose-built clinic with a full assessment and therapy resource library

  • Employee Assistance Program and a genuinely collegial team culture

About you:

  • Speech Pathology Australia (CPSP) eligible or certified

  • Experience assessing and treating communication and/or swallowing disorders — new graduates with strong placement experience are welcome to apply

  • Comfortable across paediatric and adult caseloads (or keen to broaden into one)

  • Strong clinical reasoning, documentation and interpersonal skills

  • Current WA driver's licence and reliable vehicle

  • WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
