Mediix is partnering with a well‑established multidisciplinary private practice in Perth to appoint a Speech Pathologist. You can choose paediatrics, adults, or a mix to build the caseload around your strengths.

Be part of a collegial team of allied health professionals in a modern clinic. New grads and experienced SPs are welcome, with supportive supervision and flexible hours to suit your needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• Eligible for Speech Pathology Australia CPSP or certified.
• New grads welcome with structured support.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Deliver 1:1 interventions with possible group sessions.
• Collaborate with in-house multidisciplinary team on shared clients.
• Engage with families, carers, educators and support workers.
• Maintain documentation and NDIs/NDIS/Medicare reporting as required.
• Contribute to team case reviews and in-house PD.

Speech Pathologist | Perth | Paediatric OR Adult Caseload — Your Choice

Mediix is partnering with a well-established multidisciplinary private practice in Perth to appoint a Speech Pathologist to their growing team. What makes this role a little different: you choose the caseload that suits you. Whether your interest sits with paediatrics, adults, or a mix of both, the practice will build the role around your clinical strengths and areas you want to grow into.

The team is a genuinely collegial mix of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and allied health support staff, working out of a modern, well-resourced clinic.

About The Role

You’ll shape your own caseload from the practice’s referral base — and it’s a broad one. Depending on your preference, that might look like:

• Paediatrics — early language delay, ASD, articulation, fluency, AAC, school-age literacy
• Adults — acquired communication disorders, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia
• Mixed — a genuine blend across ages, if that’s the variety you’re after

Day to day, you will:

• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualised, evidence-based treatment plans
• Deliver 1:1 intervention, with group sessions where clinically indicated
• Collaborate closely with the in‑house multidisciplinary team on shared clients
• Partner with families, carers, educators and support workers
• Maintain clinical documentation and complete NDIS, Medicare and DVA reporting as required
• Contribute to team case reviews, in‑house PD and clinical discussion

About You

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
• Speech Pathology Australia (CPSP) eligible or certified
• New graduates with strong placement experience are warmly encouraged to apply — structured new‑grad support is in place
• Experienced SPs looking for a stable, well‑run practice equally welcome
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation and interpersonal skills
• Current WA driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
