Job summary

Avina is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our Brisbane North team. The role includes managing a localised caseload across Chermside to North Lakes with the option of home, school, community and telehealth settings.

You’ll collaborate with families and multidisciplinary colleagues within a national allied health network, receiving structured supervision and ongoing professional development to support your clinical interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology required.
• Current Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work.
• Ability to work across home, school, community and telehealth settings.

• Conduct Speech Pathology assessments and deliver evidence-informed intervention.
• Support communication, language, social communication and mealtime goals.
• Develop functional, person-centred therapy plans aligned with participant goals.

About the Role

We're looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our team across Brisbane North and the Moreton Bay region.

Depending on where you're based, your caseload could include areas such as Chermside, Aspley, Carseldine, Bridgeman Downs, Albany Creek, Strathpine, Brendale, Warner, Petrie, Kallangur, Mango Hill, North Lakes and surrounding suburbs.

While our broader service area covers Brisbane's northern corridor, you won't be expected to travel across the entire region. Wherever possible, we'll build your caseload around where you live, helping keep travel practical and giving you genuine flexibility over your working week.

You’ll work across a mix of home, school, community and telehealth settings, supporting NDIS participants to achieve meaningful communication and participation goals.

Shape Your Speech Pathology Caseload You'll have the opportunity to work across the lifespan, with your caseload shaped around your experience, clinical interests and local service needs wherever possible.

Your work may include communication, language, social communication and mealtime supports, alongside assessment and ongoing therapy.
