Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking a Speech Pathologist based in the Central Coast region to provide community-based services across homes, schools and outreach settings, including Tuggerah Clinic.

You will work with individuals across the lifespan to support feeding, early language, dysphagia, AAC and communication, with weekly supervision and clear career development alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Pathology Australia membership with SPA.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
• Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults.

• Conduct observations and standardized assessments to develop participant-centred goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes.
• Caseload tailored to experience, interests and professional goals.

We're growing our #AAA team and looking for an Speech Pathologist based in the Central Coast region. Depending on your location, you'll have the opportunity to work close to home and in our Tuggerah Clinic.

In this role you will:
