Job summary

OneSchool Global in Nambour seeks a Specialist Learning Support Teacher for a part-time role (0.6 fte, 3 days) starting Term 1, 2027. The role focuses on supporting students with complex needs to access the curriculum and participate in school life, collaborating with families and allied health professionals to implement adjustments and interventions.

You will teach across Primary and Secondary years, lead inclusive practices, and support IEP development within a whole-school approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of the Queensland Australia Curriculum and Syllabus.
• Registered teacher within Queensland Australia with relevant teaching qualifications.
• Experience with high-need students and developing individualised curriculum programs.
• Comfort with modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing.

Responsibilities

• Support students with complex needs to access the curriculum and participate in class.
• Develop and implement adjustments, interventions, and support strategies.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and allied health professionals.
• Lead development of inclusive practices and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
