Job summary

Medrecruit – Broken Hill NSW is seeking a locum Consultant/Specialist/VMO for a short-term cover from 9 to 13 November 2026. Travel and accommodation are provided. Must hold current AHPRA registration and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary NSW outback hospital environment offering cancer care, gynaecology, mental health and general services. Located in a classic outback town with modern upgrades and a Royal Flying Doctors Base nearby.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
