HammondCare in Wahroonga, NSW, is hiring casual Specialised Carer – Dementia to join our dedicated team. You will provide tailored personal care and life engagement for residents, focusing on dignity, privacy and comfort in a residential setting.

You will support residents living with dementia, recognise changes, report them to the care team, and participate in orientation and on-site buddy shifts. Applicants with passion for elder care and flexibility to work nights and weekends are encouraged

Formación

• Cert III or IV in Aged Care preferred.
• Experience with dementia care is essential.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care such as showering, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide life engagement and activities for residents.
• Support residents with dementia and monitor changes in condition.
• Recognise, report and respond to changes within your scope of practice.
