HammondCare North Turramurra is seeking a Permanent Part-time Specialised Carer for Night Duty. The role involves night shifts on a rotating pattern and requires delivering person-centred care to residents, including those living with dementia.

You will provide personal care, engage residents in activities, and work as part of a compassionate team to support independence and safety in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care including showering, grooming, and toileting.
• Engage residents with life activities.
• Support residents with dementia.
• Flexible to work nights and weekends.
• Cert III/IV in Aged Care preferred.

HammondCare North Turramurra is currently looking a Permanent Part-time Specialised Carers to join our team for Night Duty.

• Night Duty line on offer : Week 1 Wednesday, Thursday 9PM - 7AM - Week 2 Monday - Wednesday 9PM - 7AM

Please note: Rosters available may not suit student visa due to hour restrictions. Unlimited work rights will be highly regarded.

With our unique model of care which places the residents’ needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. This role requires you to provide tailored care including personal support within the residential home.

You will be responsible for:

• Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc
• Provide life engagement
• Support residents with levels of dementia
• Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies
  

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & want to make a difference in their lives
• Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends
• Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
• Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
• Applicants with Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably
