Job summary

Jayco Newcastle is seeking a motivated Spare Parts Advisor to assist customers with caravan parts and accessories and to grow our Retail Parts and Accessories department at Heatherbrae. You'll deliver knowledgeable advice, process sales, manage pricing and displays, and help ensure an outstanding customer experience in a busy showroom environment.

This full-time role is based at our Heatherbrae dealership with regular daytime hours and alternating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a similar or customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Positive, proactive and professional attitude.
• Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Confidence using computer and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with spare parts and accessory enquiries in person, by phone and via email.
• Provide knowledgeable advice and recommend suitable products.
• Process retail sales, payments and daily reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate pricing, product displays and shelving.
• Keep the retail showroom fresh, organised and well presented.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve the customer experience.
• Assist customers purchasing accessories during their caravan handover.
• Support stock control and annual stocktakes.
• Maintain accurate records and promptly follow up customer enquiries.
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements.

We’re looking for a motivated Spare Parts Advisor who can build strong customer relationships, provide knowledgeable advice and contribute to the continued growth of our Parts and Accessories department.

About the Role:

Based at our Heatherbrae dealership, you’ll assist customers with caravan parts and accessories while helping maintain and grow our retail Parts and Accessories department.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and alternate Saturdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm—an 11-day fortnight.
