Job summary

Saab Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Space Software Engineer to help develop real-time space domain software within an agile, multidisciplinary team. You will design, develop, integrate and test software, contributing to UI, data integrations and core system functionality aligned with the product roadmap.

The role involves collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software outcomes, maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, and ensure robust documentation across the development

Qualifications

• Experience in software design and development for complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of OO design, patterns and architecture.
• Experience delivering software in an agile environment.
• Familiarity with software engineering standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance software components using modern SDKs and frameworks to deliver new product capabilities.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring code quality and up-to-date documentation.
• Contribute to solution design with architecture diagrams and process flows.
• Perform integration testing to ensure requirements are met.
• Support secure CI/CD pipelines for Space Domain products.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve product roadmap goals.
