Job summary

Crystalbrook Collection’s Eléme Day Spa in Cairns seeks a Spa Supervisor to lead a skilled team, coach therapists and remain hands-on with treatments. You’ll manage bookings, roster planning and day-to-day spa operations in the Spa Manager’s absence while maintaining exceptional guest care and presentation.

You will apply your Diploma in Beauty Services and luxury-spa experience to foster guest relationships, drive retail revenue and identify improvements to availability and service quality

Qualifications

• Diploma in Beauty Services or equivalent qualification.
• Supervisory or senior therapist experience in luxury spa or wellness.
• Strong knowledge across massage therapies, beauty treatments and wellness services.
• Retail sales capability and understanding of revenue generation and profitability.
• Strong organisation, relationship-building, presentation and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach therapists; develop team capabilities.
• Coordinate bookings and support roster planning; ensure smooth daily operations.
• Deliver treatments when required and model high service standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve treatment availability, retail sales and rebooking.
• Turn guest feedback into concrete improvements and maintain presentation/hygiene.

The Opportunity:

Bring your spa expertise and leadership to Eléme Day Spa in Cairns, where personalised treatments and thoughtful service shape the guest experience. As Spa Supervisor, you will guide a skilled team, stay connected to the treatments you enjoy and play an active part in the spa’s success.

Working closely with the Spa Manager, you will coach and develop therapists, coordinate bookings and support roster planning, ensuring the team are prepared and each day runs smoothly. You will lead by example, deliver treatments as required and take responsibility for daily operations in the Spa Manager’s absence.

You will also bring a commercial perspective to the role, recognising opportunities to improve treatment availability, retail sales and rebooking through relevant recommendations and strong guest relationships. Using performance results and guest feedback, you will help turn those opportunities into practical improvements.

From welcoming new team members to maintaining treatment quality, presentation and hygiene, your leadership will help create a spa where guests feel well cared for and the team take pride in their work.

You are confident in your craft and enjoy sharing your knowledge. Colleagues can rely on you for clear guidance, practical support and constructive feedback. With guests, you listen carefully, build trust and recommend treatments and products suited to their needs.

You bring sound judgement, strong organisation and an understanding of how guest care, team performance and commercial results work together.

You will bring:

• A Diploma in Beauty Services, Massage Therapy or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Supervisory or senior therapist experience within a luxury spa or wellness environment, including coaching and developing others
• Strong technical knowledge across massage therapies, beauty treatments and wellness services
• Demonstrated retail sales capability and an understanding of revenue generation, productivity and profitability
• Strong organisation and relationship-building skills, professional presentation, discretion and confidentiality
• A sound understanding of workplace health and safety, hygiene and operational compliance
• Availability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays
