This Disability Support Worker role offers weekday, evening and weekend shifts, with after induction pay and salary packaging options. You will support clients with diverse needs, follow documentation protocols, drive when required, and practice trauma-informed care

Roster and Availability:

• Shifts include weekday, evening and weekend availability
• 2-4 hour shift length
• Flexibility to fill in shifts for staff leave and pick up extra shifts
• Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern (BOC), autism, and mental health
• Experience supporting people with high physical support needs and PEG feeding
• Understanding of trauma-informed care
• Ability to problem-solve and think outside the box
• Observant to the finer details; detail-oriented
• Well-organised and thoughtful, including supporting clients to plan for significant events
• Comfortable forming a genuine bond with the client
• Exuberant and engaging, with a mature outlook on life
• Enjoy outdoor activities and can be a positive role model
• Independent and competent with life skills such as laundry and household chores
• Ability to follow documentation protocols
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to drive clients in your own car and in clients' cars/vans

As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
