Job summary

InLife Independent Living Ltd in Ballarat is seeking a dedicated disability support worker to assist clients with daily living and independence. You will participate in sleepover shifts and collaborate with a care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

Experience supporting people with physical disabilities is preferred, including familiarity with manual handling. A driver’s licence and willingness to drive clients' vehicle are beneficial for patient transport and community

To do a great job, you'll need:

• Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values


• Experience supporting people with a physical disability, including manual handling


• Experience with PEG feeding, catheter care and bowel care a bonus but not necessary


• Have great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with client


• Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives


• Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals. For example, supporting our clients to complete a regular physiotherapy program


• Full drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with driving clients vehicle


• Willingness to work sleepover shifts.
