Lifeline is seeking a Sorting, Production and Merchandise Clearance Supervisor for our Sunshine Coast Distribution Centre. You will lead sorting, production and clearance processes, coordinating staff and volunteers to maximise efficiency and value in donated goods.

You’ll oversee stock management, pricing, promotions, and reporting, ensuring safety and alignment with our not-for-profit goals. This role supports Lifeline retail operations and profitability while delivering essential community

Formación

• Demonstrated experience supervising staff and volunteers in a retail, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including stock flow, inventory management, and production workflows.
• Experience in retail operations, including merchandising, pricing, and monitoring sales performance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate and resolve operational challenges.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Retail, Warehousing, Logistics or Business is desirable but not essential.
• Blue Card.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate sorting, production, and merchandise clearance across the Sunshine Coast warehouse.
• Provide formal leadership to the Sorter team and collaborate with store teams and volunteers.
• Monitor industry trends and apply best practices in retail and warehouse management.
• Identify and implement strategies to maximise profitability, including stock management, pricing, merchandising and promotions.
• Contribute to achieving budgeted revenue and expense targets for the warehouse and clearance program.
• Produce and update rosters; adjust tasks based on daily workflow requirements.
• Analyse business performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities; report to Business Manager.
• Oversee GST delivery, daily fulfilment of shop orders, and timely reporting of data.
• Represent the warehouse in meetings and projects; support cross-unit collaboration.
• Coach and support team members to foster engagement and safety.
