Job summary

Yiaga in Melbourne’s Fitzroy Gardens is seeking a Sommelier to join our wine team under the guidance of the Head Sommelier and Master Sommelier. You will help shape the restaurant’s wine vision and deliver exceptional guest service.

The ideal candidate has sommelier experience, WSET or Court of Sommeliers credentials, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Full-time role with rights to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sommelier role in a high-end restaurant.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Diverse international and local wine knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organising our extensive wine cellar and inventory.
• Provide guests with detailed knowledge of international and local wines.
