Job summary

Rauland Australia and New Zealand is seeking an experienced Solutions/Systems Engineer to join our Technology Delivery team. You will design, implement and integrate Rauland ICT solutions across customer environments in healthcare and mission-critical settings to deliver reliable, scalable outcomes.

Reporting to the ICT Delivery Manager, you’ll work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into practical designs, manage deployments and ensure operational

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Solutions/Systems Engineer to join our Technology Delivery team.

Reporting to the ICT Delivery Manager and working alongside Senior ICT Solutions Engineers, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing and integrating Rauland's technology solutions across customer environments. Working across healthcare and mission-critical settings, you'll help deliver reliable, scalable and supportable solutions that connect people, systems and technology to improve healthcare outcomes.

You’ll be responsible for the design, implementation and integration of Rauland ICT solutions, ensuring customer requirements are translated into practical, supportable and high-quality technical outcomes. Working closely with customers, project teams, managed services, product and service teams, you'll deliver solutions that are technically sound, operationally ready and aligned to customer expectations.

How You Will Contribute

• Design, configure, deploy and implement Rauland ICT solutions across customer environments
• Analyse customer, operational and technical requirements and translate them into solution designs and deployment plans
• Implement and support integration between Rauland solutions and third-party technologies, applications, databases and infrastructure
• Deliver implementation activities aligned to approved designs, project schedules and customer requirements
• Develop technical designs, implementation plans, testing documentation and as-built records
• Conduct testing, validation and deployment readiness activities prior to implementation
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, defects and integration challenges
• Configure and support operating systems, databases, cloud platforms, networking and infrastructure technologies
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, governance requirements and quality frameworks
• Collaborate with project teams, managed services, service, product teams and customers to achieve successful delivery outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, technical standards and knowledge sharing across the business

What We're Looking For

• Experience delivering ICT implementations, systems deployments and enterprise technology solutions
• Experience integrating technologies, applications, databases and infrastructure platforms
• Strong understanding of Windows Server, Linux, networking, virtualisation, cloud technologies and supporting infrastructure
• Experience developing technical designs, implementation plans and deployment documentation
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and root cause analysis capability
• Experience supporting technical escalations and operational issue resolution
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities within a dynamic delivery environment
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Experience within healthcare or other mission-critical environments will be highly regarded

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, ICT Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, AWS, Azure, Cisco, ITIL, Agile or similar (desirable)
• Ability to meet customer site access requirements, including vaccinations, security clearances, PPE and construction induction requirements where applicable
• Willingness to participate in an on-call roster when required
• Ability to work within healthcare and mission-critical operational environments
• Willingness to travel as required to support project delivery, customer engagements and commissioning activities
