Job summary

nicriel is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Western Sydney to support the sales function with technical expertise for scoping and defining solutions for heavy mobile machinery upgrades and overhauls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronic, or Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years in a technical or operations role.
• Ability to translate engineering specifications into technical summaries.
• Experience interpreting drawings and machine data.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with large or complex machinery in maintenance, operations, or technical sales is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical responses to customer inquiries and tender submissions across new equipment and asset management services.
• Translate complex engineering specifications and product data into technical summaries and customer reports.
• Participate in customer meetings and site visits with technical input and tailored solutions.
• Contribute to the development of proposals and asset condition assessments with technical and commercial considerations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build knowledge resources across the product range.
